Description

As part of EDF’s Florida team, David works on initiatives to promote the reduction of Floridians' energy consumption through efficiency measures, reduce carbon emissions from the state's electric power sector and strengthen state energy planning. 

Background

At Austin Energy — the municipal electric utility of Austin, Texas — David managed the distributed energy resource (DER) inspection program, led development of DER interconnection policies and administered solar incentive programs. He made a career transition to clean energy following an eight-year stint in immigration law, which deepened his appreciation of cultural differences and diversity in the U.S. workforce.
